Happy New Year!!!

We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and are getting settled into a new year. We wish to update you on what’s going on in the association.  Our holiday party was a lot of fun. This year we had a private room at Stellio’s and it turned out beautifully. Thanks Kellie for doing a great job organizing it.

We also had a great response to the bookman who had a wide variety of books for sale before and after our last workshop at a low cost, we will be inviting him back at another workshop later in the year.  In the next few weeks we have our annual trip to Sesame Street Live. I am proud to say that Marlene has again managed to get us tickets at more than a 50% discount. We also have our second annual mini-conference coming up and we are fully booked for that.

A quick reminder of the upcoming workshop in February, due to a religious holiday the workshop date has been moved to the following week on Wednesday the 29^th We are able to have available at a 20% discount the music boxes. The discounted price with tax is $42.50 and the speaker will accept cash and checks.

Please remember to register on our website www.familychildcareassoc.com for the workshops. Click on registration (second topic down on left hand side), check off yes will be attending or no will not be attending and type in your name in the box. For those of you who do not use the computer or the times when you may have computer issues you can either call your area referral director and let her know if you are attending or have another provider log onto the computer for you.  You may do so up to one month in advance of each workshop and we ask that you register no later than one week before each  workshop so that we are sure to have ample handouts and certificates for each attendee.

Enclosed you will find our tear off sheet for the February social. This year our chat night is at Nana 7 a Japanese steak house. It is very entertaining watching the chef preparing each meal in front of us on the hibachi grill. If you have any questions about the night please feel free to call Kellie Kendig. The more the merrier but please be sure to get your slips in by the DUE BACK date in order for us to hold the correct reservations.

Also enclosed are tear off sheets for a bowling night on March 14^th we will meet at the Brunswick bowladrome in Woburn and the Shriner's Circus on April 20th.  If you are planning on attending more than one function you may put the amount due on one check.  We have a lot of fun stuff coming up so please join us.
